Vacation Bible School 2026 - "Camp Courageous"

Sunday Night, July 5th, 2026 through Thursday Night, July 9th, 2026 from 6pm to 8:30pm nightly

Commencement Night - Friday Night, July 10th @ 6pm


Join us for our 2026 Vacation Bible School at Open Bible Assembly! It all starts on Sunday Night, July 5th and goes through Thursday Night, July 9th from 6pm to 8:30pm nightly. Then, our Commencement Night will be Friday Night, July 10th @ 6pm. Our theme this year is: "Camp Courageous". We're looking forward to a fun-filled week learning how we can be equipped for life following Jesus! There'll be classes for kids of all ages, and there'll be lots of crafts, Bible lessons, prayer, snacks, and music! We will also have a Bible Study Class for the adults. So, come and join us for a great week of fun & learning at Camp Courageous VBS! No pre-registration needed; kids will register upon arrival during the week. We hope to see you there!



 
Concert with The Blythe Family

Friday Night, August 7th, 2026 @ 7pm


We're excited to welcome The Blythe Family to Open Bible Assembly for a Concert on Friday Night, August 7th @ 7pm! The Blythe Family consists of David & Diana Blythe with their daughter, Sandy, and son, Richard, along with long-time family friend, Rita Ritchey. Sandy & Richard are also songwriters, and you might recognize some of Sandy's songs such as "I Love You This Much", "Worry Ends Where Faith Begins" (both recorded by The Whisnants), "The Shepherd's Point of View" (recorded by The McKameys), "That's Why We Adore Him", and more! This anointed group is sure to be a blessing as they bring us a wonderful night of worship & praise through Gospel Music!

OBA 35th Anniversary Homecoming Weekend!

Homecoming Concert with The Mark Trammell Quartet

Friday Night, September 25th, 2026 @ 7pm


We're looking forward to our 35th Anniversary Homecoming Weekend here at Open Bible Assembly! It all starts on Friday Night, September 25th @ 7pm with our Concert with The Mark Trammell Quartet! They're known for their songs like "God Has Provided Himself A Lamb", "After All", "For The Life Of Me", "Still Standing After The Storm", and more! Mark Trammell has been in Southern Gospel Music for over 50 years, and he has been with groups such as The Kingsmen, Greater Vision, Gold City, and The Cathedrals. Now, he's had hiw own group for over 20 years, and they are one of the top quartets in Southern Gospel Music! We hope you'll plan to come and join us for this great evening with The Mark Trammell Quartet!

On Sunday, September 27th, we'll be enjoying our 35th Anniversary Homecoming Sunday! There will not be any Sunday School on this day. Our Homecoming Worship Service will be @ 11am with a song from the OBA Choir & Pastor Kent Curtis bringing the message. Then, after service, we'll go over to the Family Life Center and enjoy Homecoming Dinner! There will be no 6pm Service on this day. Come and let's celebrate 35 years of God's goodness and faithfulness!

New Year's Eve Singspiration Celebration with The Open Bible Assembly Choir

Thursday Night, December 31st, 2026 @ 8pm


Join us for our New Year's Eve Singspiration Celebration on Thursday Night, December 31st, 2026 @ 8pm featuring The Open Bible Assembly Choir! It'll be a night of worship & praise through Hymns & Gospel singing! These concerts are a mixture between a Gaither-Style Concert and a Hymn Sing. We'll take a break around 10pm for food & fellowship. Then, we'll continue the concert until just before midnight where we'll pray the new year in! So, come on out and ring in 2027 with us at the New Year's Eve Singspiration Celebration!
